Lesson Details and Fees
People tell me I am tone deaf and cannot sing. Can you get me to sing in tune?Everyone can sing in tune. Some take a little more time than others to pitch notes accurately. I have never had a student who could not achieve this.
I have a special occasion coming up and I want to be able to sing in public with confidence. Can you help?Confidence comes with being able to sing competently by developing a good technique. All areas of performing are covered in the lessons. I arrange student concerts attended by family and friends which you may wish to participate in. These are a good preparation for singing in public.
Does it help to be able to read music? If you are a non-reader of music, I can teach you the basics of score reading to enable you to learn songs more competently and quickly. For students who can already score read to some degree, I can help develop a more advanced sight reading technique.
I have an audition or competition coming up. Can you help?I have prepared students for a wide range of auditions and competitions including:
choirs (as a member or solo performer)
talent shows (local and national including TV)
musicals (professional or amateur). What about age?I have taught students ranging in age from 9 to 90! Age is not a barrier to singing well.
How much does a lesson cost?An initial introductory assessment session costs £10.
Individual tuition fees are £25 for one hour or £15 for a 30 minute lesson.
Bookings of 6 one hour lessons costs £120. Bookings of 6 half-hour lessons costs £75.
Small group tuition also available. 1 hour sessions: 2 people sharing £15 each. 3 people sharing £12 each. 4 people sharing £10 each.
