About me
I studied music (piano, organ, composition and singing) at Trinity College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music, London and obtained a teaching certificate from Middlesex University.
I have held Head of Department music posts in several schools and now give private voice coaching lessons covering classical and popular styles for both performance and pleasure.
I have coached students for choral works either as soloists or choir members and have directed several highly successful youth and adult choirs winning prestigious competitions and representing the UK abroad.
I have held the post of Organist and Director of Music at several churches in London and Essex. My choral groups have given performances of major choral works. I have composed secular and sacred music for choirs, solo voice and instrumental works. I have also given piano and organ recitals.
I have prepared students for West End auditions, pop groups, singing competitions and talent shows. I have also run University continuing education courses on singing in musicals. I have written, produced and directed several popular musicals.
I regularly organise concerts for my students.
